1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use gulfsitestudio.com and when you hire Gulfsite Studio (“we”, “us”) to design or develop a website. By accepting a proposal, paying a deposit or using the site, you agree to them. If a signed proposal says something different, the proposal wins for that project.
2. What we provide
We design and develop websites: business websites, landing pages, redesigns and Arabic–English sites, with on-page SEO foundations. Each project’s scope (pages, features, languages and timeline) is set out in your proposal or chosen package.
We do not provide hosting, domain registration, business email, CRM or ongoing marketing. We can advise on them, but you buy and own those accounts directly from the providers.
3. Quotes, packages and changes
- Package prices on our website are one-time prices in UAE dirhams (AED) for the scope listed. Proposals are valid for 30 days.
- Work outside the agreed scope, such as extra pages, features or languages, is quoted and approved by you before we start it.
- Timelines depend on receiving your content, feedback and approvals on time. Delays on either side move the launch date accordingly.
4. Payment
- Unless your proposal says otherwise, we take a 50% deposit to book your project and start work, and the remaining 50% before the website goes live.
- Invoices are payable within 7 days. We may pause work on overdue invoices until they are paid.
- Third-party costs you choose, such as premium fonts, stock images, plugins or paid tools, are paid by you or reimbursed at cost.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
5. Revisions and approvals
Each design stage includes two rounds of revisions. Further rounds, or changes after you have approved a stage, may be quoted as extra work. Approval by email or message counts as sign-off.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate content, images, logos and business information, and confirm you have the right to use them.
- Make sure your website meets the rules for your industry, such as healthcare advertising approvals, real estate permit numbers, or pricing and licence details.
- Keep your own accounts (hosting, domain, email and third-party services) secure and paid.
- Give one point of contact who can approve work and answer questions.
If we do not hear from you for 30 days during a project, we may pause it and schedule a restart when you are ready.
7. Ownership
Once all invoices for a project are paid, you own the final website design and the content created for you, and you receive the files and access needed to run it. Until then, we keep ownership of the work.
Your logo, brand and content always remain yours. Our own tools, code libraries and know-how stay ours, and you receive a permanent licence to use them as part of your website. Open-source and third-party components follow their own licences.
Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished website in our portfolio.
8. Launch and after launch
After launch we fix any defects in the work we delivered, free of charge, for 14 days. New features, content updates and changes caused by third-party services or your later edits are not included, but we are happy to quote them.
9. Using this website
You may browse this website and our demo websites for your own information. Please do not copy our designs, text or code, attempt to break the site’s security, or use it for anything unlawful. The demo websites show fictional brands created to demonstrate our work.
10. Limits of liability
We build every website with care, but we do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads or sales, which depend on many factors outside our control. Performance targets such as PageSpeed scores apply to agreed key pages under controlled testing conditions.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or business interruption.
11. Ending a project
Either side may end a project with written notice if the other seriously breaches these terms and does not fix it within 14 days. You pay for work completed up to that point, as set out in our Refund Policy, and we hand over the completed work once it is paid for.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. We will always try to resolve a disagreement by talking first; if that does not work, the courts of the emirate where Gulfsite Studio is licensed will have jurisdiction.
13. General
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with your proposal, are the whole agreement between us. We may update these terms; the version in force when you accepted your proposal applies to your project.
